I've been using The Youth Assistant and/or NSpire (their whole church application) since 1997, just like Dustin. I have had a GREAT experience with them. I know they're going through some structural changes there, but they are very helpful and will call you back with any tech support need you report to them. I haven't used the software on a Windows 7 machine, only XP and Vista machines.

I cannot imagine doing ministry without this software. A couple of years ago I was looking at the possibility of leaving my current church. I really considered finding out what software was being used at the church I was considering. No Youth Assistant/NSpire could have been a deal-breaker for me! :D

Also there are several very good resources on YouTube from Youth Assistant that help with getting you used to using the software. Just search Youth Assistant on YouTube

I have used YA since 1997. Good stuff. Don't hesitate to call tech support. I have found their tech people to be top notch and I would be curious how it turns out for you my friend. I train students and other adults to input data from students...it helps keep it up to date and you are not overwhelmed with all of the details...have fun, Dustin
