Background Checks
I know this was asked before, but there was only one lead that someone gave on where to go to get them. Who do you use/recommend for background checks on workers in children's ministries?

We use safechurches.com (First Advantage). At one time, we were paying like $10 per check, but because we certify nearly $100 people a year, that was priciey. They have a program where you can pay a flat fee and do as many checks as you want. This is great if you have a large volunteer ministry. This way EVERYONE can be checked annually, not just staff. Some of the discount rates may be set up through our denomination. If you have a denomination, you might check with your area office. Link Details: 1 year ago

We use protectmyministry.com. $10 per report. It's invaluable to be Able to tell parents that every volunteer has a background check on file. |

I do recommend them. We have a simple form that we use and then we also do finger printing. |
