We use safechurches.com (First Advantage). At one time, we were paying like $10 per check, but because we certify nearly $100 people a year, that was priciey. They have a program where you can pay a flat fee and do as many checks as you want. This is great if you have a large volunteer ministry. This way EVERYONE can be checked annually, not just staff. Some of the discount rates may be set up through our denomination. If you have a denomination, you might check with your area office.

We use Orange Tree and have been very pleased with them. (Link Below)

We use protectmyministry.com. $10 per report. It's invaluable to be Able to tell parents that every volunteer has a background check on file.

I do recommend them. We have a simple form that we use and then we also do finger printing.
