I really love low ropes stuff. We are actually looking at building a few elements here at the church to use in the student ministry. If there was a place close to do that, we would definitely used it for some events.

I know a local association camp that added a paintball course. I know they got the guns from a shop that was closing, but they also created a lot of their own bunkers and obstacles. I don't know if they use the paintball during the camps, but I know they use it for retreats throughout the year. Picnic tables might be something that a youth group could build. Start with a pattern and then get some cutters (wood cutters that is), then some nailers and you could probably build several in an afternoon.

Lawn Darts.

But seriously, if you've got some indoor space, nearly every camp I've ever seen has carpetball tables (link below). If you've never played it, it's easy to learn, a fair amount of fun, and a little bit dangerous. That's like the trifecta of middle school camp games.

Also if you've got the outdoor space, volleyball nets, kickball fields, etc., are always a safe bet.
