I like the first one, but you might say "A community of imperfect people sharing Christ's perfect love with an imperfect world. But I'm probably not the best one to chime in. Many times purpose statements are developed and so much goes into developing the statement then there is very little follow-through in terms of molding the programs and ministries to conform to the statement. Whichever one you choose, I would make sure that it is something that is heeded by the staff, volunteers, and the fledgling congregation. Blessings to you as you start up a church.

I get why you're using it, but I don't really like using the word "imperfect." 1) It's kind of a mouthful when you use it twice, especially along with the word "people" - there are lots of "p" sounds. 2) I wonder how non-Christians would respond to being called "imperfect." Why not keep it simple? Something like "Sharing Christ's love with the world" would could essentially have the same meaning without being a mouthful and without the potential negative connotations.

Out of the three, I'd use the first one. What about "A community of imperfect people engaging an imperfect world with God's love" ?
