If God called you to that church he may just be teaching you a lesson in humility. If you are a staff pastor you are called to fulfill his vision and if you can't get on board with it... You'd better give your resignation. I believe God's favor will only be given to staff that suport and fulfill their lead pastor's vision.

STOP. STOP. STOP. This needs to be a vision casting/reinforcing done by your senior pastor and leadership staff. Meaning he/she needs to be on board and convey that message. I would have a sit down with your pastor and voice your concerns. Other than that please don't rally people up it will only cause heartache for you and others as well. Remember this is a culture changing thing and in order for that to happen it can't just be you butting heads with everyone.

I think you have a few things to consider. First, even if you establish change is needed, don't plow head first and fast. Recognize it will take time and a unified goal (don't divide!). Second, I don't know what your position is in the church leadership, but I would reccomend you get together, perhaps retreat style, and discuss the vision/mission of your church. If your vision is to grow new believers in your area, you can identify goals and areas for change (like modern worship). Your church may have a different vision, but you should identify it and move towards it together. Start small, work up, don't institue major changes too fast, or you will loose the current congregation too.
