How often do you preach in 'big' church?
I get to preach about every 6-8 weeks. How about anyone else. Do you enjoy preaching and how does it impact your ministry positively or negatively?

I preached last September for our first Youth Night and am planning on doing the same this fall as well. That would make my second time in as many years of service at the church here. |

I don't preach. That's our minister's business, and he knows it best. I do get to share some youthwork highlights with the congregation every now and again, though, which is a plus. |

Usually several times a year (2-5). We have three pastors in addition to the senior pastor. |

I do it a few times a year, just depends on what is going on. I have 3 other associates who I am behind, so it doesn't come up a lot |

I have been at my church for one year now and have not preached in big church, although my pastor just told me recently he wants me to speak soon. |

Been at my church for a little over 4 years, just preparing for my first opportunity to preach to "big church" in June. Granted, I've shared smaller/devotional thoughts for our yearly Senior Graduation service, but attendance is much smaller and limited than our typical Sunday morning services. |

When I made the transition back to my home church, one of the things I asked for was the opportunity to preach more regularly. My prior church was so large that pulpit time was very limited, due to the way leadership was structured. I've got a sermon coming up at the end of May that I'm looking forward to. Ultimately I hope for about once every 3 months. |

3-5 times a year. The pastor preaches every sunday, we have an assistant pastor who is next in line to preach in the absence of the pastor and then I am next in line and will preach certain Sundays on a regular basis as well. |

I only preach on "big church" once a year on Graduation Sunday. Coming up the first Sunday in June for me. Yikes! |

I enjoy it but typically only preach once a year for our Youth Sunday. Really, I preach every week if youth teaching counts, but only once a year for the "grown ups". |
