I will join you in prayer about this issue.

My I suggest as fellow youth pastor of a relatively small (numerically) youth group in a church to do something positive with the teens that will get the adults attention.

Many times adults totally underestimate what teens are capable of doing. If you could take your teens and help them become "examples to the believers". If the congregation realizes you my be training their next pastor they will take attention!!

Wow, deep question.

First of all, pray about it. Get others who feel the same way you do to pray about it, too. I don't mean pray once or twice, but for weeks and weeks, both together as a group and individually. Gotta bathe this one in prayer.

Then humbly talk with your pastor about the situation, even though ultimately He may or may not be able to do much about it or even care to in the first place maybe. Unfortunately, you can't change the value system of everyone in the church, but God can. That's why you pray.

However, you CAN at least be the person who does reach out to them. It sounds like you are. Be intentional about spending time with them outside church just to be together. SHOW them Christ's love more than you talk about it.
