How to get youths to show up at a crusade
Hi there. We are having a crusade in February for 5 days and the Evangelist has put me in charge of being the youth coordinator. He wants me to get lots of youths in the whole area to come out and to work as ppl in the crusade as well as to get unsaved youths to the crusade...He told me the first thing to do is get the youth leaders nos in the surrounding churches...do you all have any ideas on how to rally youths for this crusade? I was thinkinng using facebook and email and text msgs etc..what ideas do you all have....

If you're trying to involve other youth groups then you should start soon on trying to meet with the youth pastors of the various churches and letting them know what is going on. If they're church / youth group can get involved and it is seen as a benefit / help to their ministry then they can get some of their youth involved. I would also say to get those teens around you excited. If they are excited then they will invite others out. I would say, in the end, however, there's no real way to know who will come out and it can't be just about numbers. It must be about ministry. If you focus on how many then you can be severely disappointed. Focus on ministry and how can this best be used to get God's Word out there. And Pray, Pray, Pray |
