I'm meeting with our youth and children's ministry leaders for our first "Family Life Team" meeting next month. Anybody know good spiritual development resources/books we could go through?
Hey guys and gals! I'm meeting up with our youth and children's ministry leaders this year as a combined Family Life ministry Team. There's been a lot of feedback from our adult leaders in the way of how to be a positive adult presence for kids. Does anyone know of any books/resources that explore this on a deeper level that would be compatible with both children and youth workers?

Mark Devries has some really good stuff about family based youth ministry.....http://www.familybasedym.com/ or http://www.amazon.com/Family-Based-Youth-Ministry- DeVries/dp/0830832432 ....also the curriculums from the reThink Group (Orange, 252 Basics, XP3) are great for family oriented ministry...we just switched over to 252 for our children's ministry which has the same ministry model/strategy as the XP3 program that we've just started using for youth ministry (http://www.whatisorange.org/) |
