I'm trying to figure out how to fit a game, worship and a lesson all in to a 90 minute youth service. How do you do that?
We currently don't have any music/worship time and are almost always ending 15 minutes past time. We go from 7:00-8:30, have a game, lesson and discussion. I really feel like musical worship needs to be part of this but I don't know how to fit it all in. I see some youth groups are able to do hang out time, food, 2-3 games, and still do worship and a 20-30 minute lesson. How are you doing that?

My group runs from 6-7:30 pm & doors open/leaders show up @ 5:30. 5:30-6 is optional hangout/snack time. ^Sometimes there is no game at all so we can do a longer worship set. Often I go long on teaching & small group time gets cut short. But by and large this works for us. |
