hat sounds pretty solid. Just a few ideas for names: -Connected, connections, breakfast connect... it would be fun to play around with the word connect--since that is your main purpose. Perhaps... taken from dueteronomy 6:4..."Shema" meaning the LORD our God is one. Directly after that you get the greatest commandment, then instructions to parents/fathers regarding leading their children and familes. Although the term "Shema" is girly (she-ma) but it could ironically work

I hear ya... I stink at coming up with names for stuff, that's always my struggle! A lot of times, though, I fall back to, "Does this thing NEED a name?" It seems like you could just call up each of the middle school dads and make it a personal invitation to breakfast or lunch. Invite them to the meal and explain why you're doing it. Honestly, I can't see why they'd turn you down if you went about it that way, unless they simply couldn't fit it into their schedules.

Sounds like a very good thing you are doing. the question i have for you is...What is your MAIN purpose? are you trying to connect and build relationships, are you trying to encourage them to become stronger fathers, or are you trying to learn from them? All of these will inevitablely take place during such a meeting, but which one do you want to see the most? Will there be any kind of bible study incorporated in this breakfast?

Main purpose would be connection&relationship: I believe that the Parents are the main influence in their child's life (social, spiritual). I believe that if I have a good relationship with the fathers of our kids then we as a church will have a great influence on them and then their families.
We are a fairly large church so this type of personal connection has not been there before and will open the doors for further Bible study, stronger parenting, and knowledge sharing.
