I highly recommend Adventures in Missions. Your kids will get in depth discipling on the trip instead of just "doing" missions. It's so easy to get caught up in what you're doing on a trip instead of taking the time to spend time with, listen to and rely on Christ. Whoever you end up going with, make sure your students are digging into the Word every day for a good amount of time.

As far as managing a trip on your own, if you haven't done it before, I recommend going with an agency. But if you're up for the challenge of planning all the details yourself go for it! Or if you have someone else plan it out, make sure they're going too to make things go smoother.

I have never done a mission trip with a company but I have used one for a ski trip. If you are not the best organizer or have someone who can help, then an agency is probably best. They take care of most of the details. I know Group Workcamps is a good company. Make sure you get references with any companies you are looking at.
Most agencies will take care of all the details except for transportation to the location. Just be prudent and go with a known company. Remember, you get what you pay for.

I have found that doing it myself isn't a big deal. If you are part of a denomination, see if they have anyone who can help plan it with you. This is especially useful if you are going overseas.
