Video Based Small Group Curriculum
One of our small group leaders would like to try out a video-based curriculum. What are some that you have tried, and what did you think of them?

Nooma also to me seems to be one to try. Im just not a big curriculum guy so i only use videos to illustrate points. I try to teach my leaders to develop thier stuff from Scratch. I liek highway videos at times for this stuff |

Nooma's good...so is Bluefish (but what Jason said...yeah, make sure the topic fits your group's personality. We did the "Sex/Dating" series and it went VERY well)...then there is the Dare2Share Gospel Journey series (there are 2 right now)...but I for D2S, so...I am a little biased on that...bottom line: ASK QUESTIONS of the publisher... I don't do video curricula often. ONe I did try was Revolution from Bluefish featuring Doug Fields. I no longer do business with bluefish because of their marketing structure. This study was decent, but the issues in it were so heavy and the lessons were very dark. It was depressing after 3 weeks. So if your kids are all cutting themselves or something, it'd be great, but not for the average group. Also, only 5 of the 13 lessons were video lessons, so you had to teach the rest yourself. For just discussion starters, I like Rob Bell's Nooma videos. They are about 12 mins each and are very thought-provoking. Link Details: 2 years ago
