What are some good ideas for celebrating Advent in a Sunday morning Service?
We are looking to find some new creative ways to celebrate the Advent season in our sunday morning worship service.

My church started a tradition a couple years ago where for the 4 sundays, 1 family or small group of people are asked to participate. They are given scriptures and that day's part of the advent story to read up front. While that is going on one person lights the candle(s) for the day and the last person ends the "ceremony" in a short pre-written prayer. It has been very cool and it gets people involved with the service who normally would never be on stage. |
