I wish I could say that I have set schedule but I dont. I am in charge of my schedule and its great. So I basically set 2 hours every morning for devotion and prayer. I set another 2 hours for strategy and planning. 2-4 hours with Students whereever. My last 2 hours hours are spent wrapping up and touching base with any phone calls that need to be made.

I Try to keep it simple. I used to have a very overloaded schedule and I found that ministry was suffering because of it. Now I just try to keep the main thing the main thing.

I keep in mind my Priorities to help me set my schedule
1. GOD
2. Wife
3. Family
4. Ministry
5. Job

I work very hard to keep them in that order!

As a matter of integrity, you should "work" at least 40 hours. My personal opinion is that 45 hours a week is a good balance. When I was single, I was 50 to 55+ hours a week and found myself just starting to burn myself out. If you find yourself working over 50 hours regularly, I would question the wisdom in that.

Here is my weekly'ish schedule:

Office hours Monday thru Thursday 8am to 3pm (28 hours)
Sunday and Wednesday Church Times (8 to 10 hours)
Misc. activities like sports visits, meetings, one on one time, etc...(3 to 5 hours)

That varies from week to week. I track all of my hours just in case anyone was to ever ask me how I spent my time. Paranoid? Maybe, but it's also a good reminder to me about how I spend my time.

M-F 8 am to 5 pm (i take one of those days off. My wife is an RN and works one day a week, so the day she is scheduled I take off. My church does not keep track of my hours nor do the people, but that is my normal time. Wednesday morning is our staff breakfast, and I have 8th Hour (after school program 3:15 - 6:30 pm and then our Mid-week ConneXtions from 6:30 - 8 pm)
Thursday morning I have a Men's prayer group that meets at 5:30 -6:15 am then breakfast club in a local middle school from 7-8 am. First Friday of the month is Club56/middle school game night and one other friday a month is a middle/high school activity. Saturday I spend about 4 hours of prep. I spend time w/ my family where I can and do my best to make special times w/them

That's a hard question, I am a very unstructured/people oriented person so I spend as little time in the office as possible, but do spend (during the school yr) 10-3 or 4 in the office, and from there spend 2 to 3 hrs with kids after school as often as possible. During the summer I spend more time with kids, and less in the office. So there is not really a "normal" work week for me that is consistant.

i just play X box and eat pizza all day long.
that, and I go in late and come home early.
And, i can't even call my job work. i mean, it's bascially just hanging out with kids, right?

I just made an "ideal-generic" schedule for me. Monday, Tues, Thurs Bible Study 8-10, Networking/email/facebook/misc 10-1, Prepare lesson/sermon 1-3, wrap-up/clean up 3-4. On Wed, Bible study 8-9:30, Networking/email/facebook/misc 9:30-11, Finalize and review lesson 11-12, set up youth room 12-1. Have church 7:30 on wed, class and service on sunday. All added up equals about 35 hours or so. The remainder of my time is spent with other yp's and students at school, sport events, plays etc. Make sure not to be too detailed in a schedule and leave some wiggle room. You never know what's going to pop up.
