What type of spiritual warfare issues do you see your middle schoolers running into the most?
I am designing a weekend retreat around spiritual warfare for middle schoolers. What do see your middle schoolers fighting day to day?

One of the biggest issues I see my middle school students wrestling with is standing up for Christ and their relationship with Him around peers and at school. I am reminded of Ezekiel 22:30 where God is looking for someone to "stand in the gap" and no one is found. It seems like at youth group and church functions - they do not seem to have a problem living and behaving "worthy of their calling" but when it comes to being with unsaved friends, the boldness is pushed aside and they make compromises. |
