Where can I find info on the LEGALITY of showing YouTube videos in church?
I'm not sure if this will yield an answer, but I am looking for solid/specific sources that speak to the issue of the legality of showing YouTube videos in church (on tvs/projectors etc). Please give links to solid sources of information. I've gone back and forth with this and am looking for some solid clarification if I can legally show YouTube videos during youth group etc. Don't just say so either way, please provide references :-)

If you show the video straight from YouTube, there's no issue at all. The issue comes when you download it and modify it. In most cases you're totally fine. I think what you're looking for is Fair Use. I've linked it up below. Link Details: 7 months ago
