Where do you find new music?
I'm always looking for new music for our youth group's praise band but I'm honestly not very good at finding new stuff.
What resources are others out there using to find new music? Are there any particular bands you would recommend? Anyone know of some good lesser known/"indie" songwriters rather than just the typical big names?

Here's some artists/songs/albums that any worship leader should check out...1-Jared Anderson's song Carrier, from his album "Live From My Church", it's a really good song about missions. 2-Matt Maher's song Resurrection Day, from his album "Overflow". Also, most of the stuff on his newest album "Alive Again" is good. 3-Elevation Worship's songs Great Things, Sun Stand Still, and God Who Answers Prayer, or just check out any of their albums. 4-Carl Cartee's The Sound, from his album "Here I Go". He has several albums on iTunes, all of which are superb.. 5-Anything from Hillsong Live or Hillsong United. 6-Anything from Paul Baloche. AND FINALLY...7-Check out the album Catalyst Music Project. It's by far my favorite worship album of the year. |

WorshipCafe.com is another good website to check out, especially for lesser known worship leaders/songwriters. Maybe give a listen to Mandy Joy Miller, Carlos Whitaker, and Gungor. |

www.worshiptogether.com is a good website for modern worship songs. For artist, I like Charlie Hall, Fee, Josh Wilson, and some dude named Chris Tomlin. |
